New Student Enrollment

2020-21 New Student Enrollment: New Student Enrollment begins May 12, 2020.  Due to the emergency school closures, Poway Unified School District has updated the new student enrollment process for the 2020-2021 school year. While schools are closed, the enrollment process will be completed electronically. Click here enrollment: PUSD New Student Enrollment.   2019-20 New Student Enrollment : For the current school year [2019-20] New Student Enrollment visit the 2019-20 New Student Enrollment Page.School Closure and COVID-19 Updates: Check out the May 14th Message.  VISIT PUSD CORONAVIRUS UPDATES PAGE  Schools and district offices will be closed until further notice to help slow the spread of COVID-19. There is important information regarding the end of the school year, including our decision not to physically reopen before June 11th, feedback on distance learning, graduation and promotion plans, and summer learning and childcare opportunities.

CONTINUING STUDENT REGISTRATION

Online continuing registration for current Poway Unified School District students will reopen on June 1, 2020, at 8 a.m. for those families that missed the original deadline. The window will remain open until Saturday, June 5.  Login and complete the digital registration packet online at the ParentVue portal:  https://sis.powayusd.com/Packet We must receive a completed digital packet for all returning students. This will allow for proper placement of your student for the 2020-2021 school year. It is imperative that we have an accurate record of students returning to Poway High as we are currently placing students in classes. Your student(s) may not be placed into a class until the registration process is complete.

PHS RECOGNIZED AS A PROJECT LEAD THE WAY DISTINGUISHED SCHOOL

Congratulations to PHS Engineering Pathway for being recognized as a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Distinguished School for 2019-20.  PHS is one of only 143 schools nationally to receive this award!


PHS ROBOTICS WINS BIG!

Congratulations to PHS student Madalyn Nguyen for winning the FIRST Dean’s List Award at the FIRST Robotics Virtual Showcase on May 2, and to Team Spyder for being honored with the Chairman’s Award at the Del Mar Regional!  To read more about Team Spyder’s accomplishments, click here.
