Tri 2 5.5 Classes Begin November 28

5.5 Classes for Trimester 2 begin on Monday, November 28, 2022. See the class schedule below for the sign-up links and more information.

5.5 Period Classes are optional for PHS students.  Students earn 2.5 elective credits per each 5.5 class taken during the trimester (two classes maximum), and grades are given on a pass/fail basis - not a letter grade.

NHS Peer Tutoring Now Available

Students who need help with their classes can sign up for tutoring with NHS student volunteers on Monday and Wednesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings in the Titan Center (Room K-16). Walk-ins are welcome, but signing up is strongly encouraged. Please register here.

ASVAB Exam - December 6

The ASVAB is a test for students 16 years and older. Results of the aptitude test and the interest inventory enable students to evaluate their skills, estimate their performance in academic and vocational endeavors, and identify potentially satisfying careers. Taking the ASVAB does ​NOT commit a student to enlisting in the military. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB, it will be offered on-campus at Poway High on December 6 @ 8:35 am in the Library Room L-13. Seniors! Do you need help with your Palomar College application?

Palomar College is offering an application workshop this fall on December 13 during Period 3 at 11:21 am in the Library Rm L-13. During the workshop, students will complete the CCCApply application, set-up passwords, activate their Palomar email, review their placement, and apply for the Palomar Promise grant program.
