As per Education Code (EC) 49501.5, PUSD Food & Nutrition breakfast and lunch meals are free for the 2022-2023 school year. Students can purchase a la carte items or extra items during class break using their student lunch account; only water is sold during lunch time. The Food and Nutrition department is a cashless system. To place money on your student's account use MySchoolBucks or pay by check made payable to PUSD Food and Nutrition (give check to MCHS school cafeteria or F&N district office).

COVID-19 Process and Procedures
Reporting Positive COVID Results - Report positive COVID test results using this MCHS Positive COVID-19 Submission Form. Using the form is the most efficient way for us to get all of the information and to improve our processes in the office. Although, you may email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (858) 484-1180 x3173 to report positive COVID cases as well.
Reporting Negative COVID Results - When returning to school after being COVID positive and are returning to school on Day 6 or later, or if you reported symptoms to the Attendance, but have a negative test, you will need to submit the attestation of a negative COVID test and documentation using this MCHS COVID-19 Negative Test Result Form. Upon your return, please visit the Attendance Office prior to attending your first class.
SAT exams offered at Mt. Carmel High School are hosted by our Band Booster as an independent third-party that uses our school site for the testing. The school staff will not have information regarding the SAT test at the school site. Questions for those registered to take the test at MCHS (accommodations, etc.), please email SATAdmin@MCHSBAND.com. For general SAT questions or to register for the SAT exam, please visit the College Board website (https://www.collegeboard.org/).
