Why Take AP?

Students at Mt Carmel who plan to attend a four-your college or university are highly encouraged to complete one or more Advanced Placement (AP) courses during their high school career.  These courses are designed to help students prepare for a successful college or university experience.
Your course selection in March determines staffing for all classes, so you are committed to continuing your chosen AP course for all three trimesters.  Students interested in taking an AP course should attend the informational sessions offered and view the videos below. 2021 AP Exam Dates print version
