Graduation Parade Route and Directions.


The following standards are to be adhered to during Graduation Parade Experience for the Class of 2020 

  1.  Prior to entering the staff lot off of  Nighthawk Ln. place the name and time placard that was passed out at Cap and Gown distribution on the dash of the car.
  2. As of Monday May 26th, Graduates will exit the car at the “Celebration Station” and walk across the stage to receive their diploma cover. The Graduate must wear a mask as they walk through the “Celebration Station” across the stage. After the Graduate walks across the stage, they will get back in their vehicle and exit the “Celebration Station” area to pick up their Senior Gift.  Immediate family members need to remain in their vehicles at all times. Only 2 cars are allowed per Graduate. No limousines or party busses will be allowed as part of the parade. Cars may be decorated to honor the graduate.
  3. Only immediate family may be in the vehicle(s).
  4. Graduates and immediate family are asked to attend on their assigned day and time only.
  5. Stopping or sitting in vehicles to wait and watch the parade is not permitted. 
  6. PTSA will have a table set up in the staff lot to distribute graduation leis that were purchased earlier in the year. 
  7. Each Graduate will receive their name card when they enter the staff lot.  Graduate will hand name card to counselor/Admin as they drive up to the “Celebration Station”
  8. Admin/ Counseling will call each Graduate name as they drive through with their immediate family.
  9. After driving through the “Celebration Station” Graduates and immediate family will exit the student lot onto Del Sur Ridge Road.
  10. There will be no restroom access during this event.
  11. SDPD will be on site to assist with monitoring traffic flow.
  12. Please make sure that you follow all traffic laws as you drive around the Parade route and on campus during the Parade Celebration.
  13. Diplomas may be picked up in the front office the week of June 15-19 between 11AM-1PM. If you borrowed your Cap & Gown- you must return these borrowed items to receive your diploma. 
  • Every area will be clearly marked with signage, cones and personnel stationed at every location, practicing social distancing and wearing PPE (mask and gloves). Please practice social distancing by wearing masks and gloves and not gathering at any time during this event. Once the Graduate has passed through the “Celebration Station”, please exit (located on map).
