The Del Norte PTSA offers Senior Scholarships to acknowledge our commitment to continued
education. We are proud to award four (4) $500 scholarships for the Del Norte Class of 2021!
The applicants are evaluated on their ability to express themselves and provide compelling
responses to the scholarship questions. Each applicant’s answers are distributed to a committee
of readers for review without any identification disclosed.

1. Graduating from Del Norte’s Class of 2021.
Applicants are required to be a Del Norte PTSA member when applying (no later
than May 28, 2021). The cost to join the PTSA is $15.00. (See to become a member). If
there is a financial hardship to become a Del Norte PTSA member, assistance may be
available by submitting a letter of explanation by May 17, 2021. Email Fauzia Qureshi-Aziz

2. The Del Norte senior is pursuing any academic or continuing education, beginning the
fall of 2021. The scholarship is to be used during the fall semester/quarter following high
school graduation at an accredited college or university, community college or trade or
technical school. Scholarship money will be distributed after the committee chair has
received documentation of Fall 2021 registration.
3. Selected recipients will be notified early June 2021.

1. Written and video submissions should be forwarded to
by May 28th, along with your application and 1 letter of recommendation.
2. Original artwork should be dropped off at DNHS to the ATTN: Fauzia Qureshi-Aziz by
May 28th, along with your application and 1 letter of recommendation.
