Jason Askegreen - Varsity Field Hockey
Prior to heading up the Del Norte hockey program in 2013, Coach J reestablished field hockey and coached the Varsity team at Orange Glen High School for eight years. He then volunteered with both Varsity and JV teams at Del Norte from 2010-2011, and was the JV field hockey coach for 2011-2012. Coach J has also been coaching and organizing the girls in multiple off-season leagues through the Nighthawks Field Hockey Club.
The mission of the Del Norte field hockey program goes beyond developing a love for the game. We strive to help our athletes build character, make connections to the school and to peers, and provide an opportunity for advancing to the university level.
