•   2019-2020 TK Interest Wait List Information

*Please open this announcement to access the links* To get on the wait list follow this link: Parents of children with a fifth birthday between June 1 and September 1, 2019 who wish to enroll their child into a TK class, MUST place their name on the District Interest Waitlist (which opens February 1, 2019).  Select "TK Interest Waitlist" link on this page to complete and submit the required form to put your child’s name on the list. Since TK waitlist assignments will not be made until June or later, you  will still need to enroll your child into your home school Kindergarten program while awaiting TK availability confirmation. Should a TK opening be available, the assigned TK school site will notify parents on the Interest List. The parent will then be given 48 hours to enroll. Due to increased numbers of students required to enroll in TK, please note space is very limited and will be determined on a first-come, first served basis. NOTE: Parents of children with a fifth birthday between September 2, 2019 and December 2, 2019 do not need to place your child’s name on the wait list! Your child is eligible for TK and the wait list is not necessary; you only need to enroll your child at your home school during their registration in May.

  •   Please Remember Your ID

When coming to sign a student out of school early for any reason please remember we will always ask to see a picture ID. The person signing out must be a parent or guardian. If someone other than the parent/guardian is picking your student up early, they need to be on the emergency list and the parent/guardian will need to call the school and give verbal consent. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping your student safe and following Poway Unified School District policy.

  •   Late Item Drop Off

The Character Pillar for the month of January is Responsibility.  Students display responsibility by doing what they are required to do and what they should do; accepting responsibility for the consequences (i.e., being accountable) for what they say, do and think; and using critical thinking and decision making skills to avoid rationalizations and excuses and to make prudent choices.  Students will be responsible if they adhere to the following:

    • Holding oneself and others accountable for the consequences of words, actions, and inactions.

    • Exercising self-control and setting a good example.

    • Planning, setting goals, and persisting in order to be successful.

    • Do what is required without whining or giving excuses.

    • Do their best work and their best self.
