    Character Counts!

    November Focus:  Respect

Character Counts programs are designed to supplement and enhance, not substitute for, family efforts to instill positive ethical values and good character.  Thank you for partnering with us!

Students are expected to treat every individual with respect and judge others on their character and ability without regard to biases.  We believe all individuals are worthy and that their well-being and dignity is important simply because they are fellow human beings.

Conversations you can have at home that support our Character Counts program:

What is respect and self respect?

How can I respect myself and others?

How do I treat others when I am upset?

How can I know if what I do makes others happy?

We have discussed the Golden Rule as well as going beyond the Golden Rule – treat others how THEY want to be treated.
