The Willow Grove PTA values exercise and encourages students to be active and have fun.  The PTA sponsors a weekly running club for students in grades K-5, run by parent volunteers.  We encourage good sportsmanship, fun, and working towards a goal.  Studies have shown that regular exercise helps children learn and have better focus in school.

The Willow Grove PTA continues to encourage Grizzlies to work towards Character Counts. This year the PTA is offering a challenge to our entire school.  If Grizzlies run a total of 60,000 laps or more by the last day of Running Club, then the PTA will generously donate $500 towards KaBOOM! Charity.

Willow Grove PTA is thrilled to share with the Willow Grove families another fun way our new Lap Tracker system will help keep the Grizzlies excited to keep running!!
