Celebrations

Valley Elementary has adopted a no food or candy celebration policy at this time.  Please, if you wish to celebrate be bringing goodies to school, we suggest, pencils, erasers or other non edible items.

Halloween Guidelines

We are holding our annual Halloween Parade on Wednesday, October 27th  during our College and Character Assembly. Students who wish to participate may bring a costume to school that day. Children are NOT to bring pirate hooks, swords, fake guns, knives or anything else that resembles a weapon.

Also, remember that we have very young children on campus who could be frightened by very scary and gory costumes, so we ask that our students not wear bloody clothes or scary items. We appreciate your support and look forward to our annual Halloween Costume Parade on the 27th!

Office Staff

Just a couple of quick reminders, the office staff is now helping with the opening and dismissal of all of our Valley students.   Please know that we are closing the office prior to 7:45 and prior to 2:30 to help support the safe entrance and exit of our students.  If you need to reach someone or pick up a student we ask that you do this before 7:30 in the morning, after 8:15 and before 2:15 or after 2:45, please and thank you.

Classroom Interruptions

Please be aware the teachers have a lot of work to do with your students and we ask for your help in reducing the number of interruptions to the classrooms.  Our office staff has been instructed not to interrupt the classroom during the school day unless there is a family emergency.  You can help by discussing with your child alternate pick up plans for the days you may be running later or when the weather is rainy or alternate plans in case lunch/homework/instruments are forgotten at home.  The office staff cannot guarantee that these items will get to the students in time.  We greatly appreciate your support in helping us create a successful environment for our Valley students.
