2020-2021 ONLINE REGISTRATION opens April 1
Beginning April 1 – April 30, we will be asking you to complete the annual registration process digitally. This process will allow a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student.
**Forgot your username or password? You can retrieve your username as well as reset your password by visiting https://password.powayusd.com  and clicking the button that represents the help you require. Please do this NOW to be ready for registration!**
Packets can be completed using any computer, or device with an internet connection. If you do not have access to any computing device or internet connection please email Joni to arrange to check out a devise.
 This process contains three steps:
Login and complete the digital registration packet by visiting the ParentVUE portal: https://sis.powayusd.com/
Print and sign the completed forms located on the conclusion of the process. At this time, the State of California does not allow guardian/parents to electronically sign certain documents.
Return the printed and signed document(s) to the school site once we reopen.   Please note, signed Authorization for Medication forms must be returned at the time medications are dropped off at the beginning of the school year.
If your address has changed please notify Joni, We will require a new Residence Verification Form and   two proofs of residency to verify your address.  If you will not be attending Sundance for the 2020-2021 school year, please contact us as soon as possible.  jgilbert@powayusd.com

Due to the evolving changes with COVID-19, we are considering other options for this event to have it virtual with an online auction.  We will update with more information as soon as possible.  Anyone who has bought a ticket will be refunded, please contact Robin at robindpeters@gmail.com if you have any questions regarding your refund.
Parents of children with a fifth birthday between June 1st and September 1st who wish to enroll their child into a TK class, rather than a Kindergarten class, will be instructed on how to place their child’s name on a District Interest Wait List at the time of their enrollment at the school of residence. Enroll your student in kindergarten at your school of residence during the first week of May.
Students will be placed on a first-come-first-serve basis, space is limited. Students will be seated on a space-available basis and possibly not at their home school.
Interest List placement is NOT a guarantee that a child will get a TK seat.
The TK Interest List is open only to students who live in the PUSD boundaries and only required if the birthdate in in the June 1 –September 1 window.
The student is returned automatically to the school of residence for the following school year.
TK INFORMATIONAL MEETING –POSTPONED, we will schedule a meeting for all TK / K families once we return.  If you have questions, please email jgilbert@powayusd.com

We have a new Instagram Page to go along with our Facebook page it’s: sundanceelementary (all one word.) We have about 35 followers but mostly K parents. We’d love to get some other grades involved. This page will focus more on classroom activities vs. whole school.
Some Sundance Parents have created a Facebook Page to help build more community within our school.  This group is not administered by the school in any way but provides a chance to connect with other Sundance Parents: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1456800417734747/
A fun way to share ideas is to join the Sundance Shutdown Support group on Facebook!  Again, this is not administered by the school but provides some connection and fun activities during this time.
