ONLINE REGISTRATION – All continuing STUDENTS must be registered!

Although we sent out the preregistration forms for the 2019-2020 school year, we NOW need to complete the process with our new online registration.  This new digital process will allow a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student. You may use any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection. If you do not have access to any computing device, please contact the office.  We will arrange for you to use a device here at school.

This new process contains three steps:

1. Login and complete the digital registration packet by visiting the ParentVUE portal:

This link is also available on our website:   www.https://powayusd.com/SDES

 2. Print and sign the required forms (Signature form for all, Health for incoming 4th only) located at the conclusion of the process. If you are unable to print the document, please sign a copy provided in the office.

 3. Return the forms to your student’s teacher by MONDAY.

SUMMER LUAU – TONIGHT

Aloha! Save the date! Our annual Sundance Summer Luau will be on June 7th at 6pm. Admission is $3, and plenty of food and treats will be available for purchase, including some amazing homemade Hawaiian food. We are lucky enough to have the wonderful Polynesian dancing group visit us again to perform. We will also be having a silent auction during the Luau. There will be several items up for auction!  You won’t want to miss the last dance of the year! Be sure to come in your Hawaiian attire!

ATTENTION 4TH GRADE PARENTS

Each year, 5th grade parents depend on help from 4th grade parents to give them the freedom to enjoy promotion without stress. It’s a great opportunity for you to see how promotion is set up and run in advance of your own child’s promotion next year. You’re invited to get this head start by volunteering your time on Wednesday anytime from 7:30-10:45 am and/or Tuesday afternoon setup.   See the attached flyer for details.  There will be a brief 10-15 min organizational meeting after school on Tuesday in the lunch area if you can stop by. Contact  Dixie Levine dlevine1998@gmail.com if you are able to help out or have questions.

FIFTH GRADE QUILT

The beautiful quilt, hand made by Patti Sevier will be raffled off to a lucky a 5th grade family at the promotion ceremony.  Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased in the office.  There is a limit of ten tickets per family.  We are enjoying having the quilt displayed in the office and know it will be a treasure to any 5th grader.

SPIRIT WEAR RESALE! – Time for Spring Cleaning?

Do you have gently used worn Sundance shirts or sweatshirts that your children don't wear anymore?  We are now collecting Spirit Wear items for our upcoming RESALE event. You may drop the freshly laundered items off at the office.   If you have any questions, feel free to contact Sonja at SundanceSpiritwear@gmail.com.

As you enter the parking lot to pick up or drop off your child, please drive along the curb and pull up as far as possible.
