Good evening Shoal Creek families,
This is Principal Atkins calling to tell you Stuff You Otter Know.
Our Fall Festival will be this Friday October 20 from 5 to 8pm.  You can help by donating bags of wrapped candy or canned soda and dropping off to the front office or to your child's teacher.
Volunteers are needed to build the Haunted House in the evenings this week as well as set up and help during the event on Friday. Please see the attached link for details.
Congratulations, Shoal Creek!  We have reached 75% of our goal for Cash 4 Shoal Creek Kids. 120 families have donated so far, and we are looking for 100 more.  Your PTA will be using these funds to purchase new sprinklers, new grass and new trees around the track. Let's keep it going!
At this week's Friday Flag, please stop by the Otter Cafe tables to purchase Jamba Juice gift cards, which raise money for Shoal Creek. Students will also be selling "Team Jordan" bracelets to support Jordan Keller and her family. The suggested donation per bracelet is 5 dollars.
All Blue Federal Survey forms need to be turned in to teachers by Tuesday, Oct. 17th.
See information below about a free Robotics workshop for students in 1st – 8th grades at West View High School on Oct. 21.
On October 21st from 2:30-5:00pm, Westview Robotics will be hosting a series of STEM workshops on our Westview High School campus.
Students grades 1st-8th are invited to join Westview Robotics for a free workshop where experienced student mentors lead participants through the basics of engineering problem solving. Signups are accepted online. Each workshop has a limited amount of space, so sign up as soon as possible.
