You’re invited to
TK & K BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT
Monday, August 20
6:00-6:45 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room (MPR)
This is a PARENTS-ONLY event where you will learn more about our school and programs. Teachers will be sharing valuable information that will help make your first day of school a success.
School starts for your child on Wednesday, August 22, at 8:10 a.m.!
Parents,
Class rosters will be posted outside the office on Tuesday, August 21, at 4:00 p.m. Our Foundation is hosting a Posting Party! Spirit wear will be on sale and Kona Ice will be available for purchase.
On August 22, please feel free to park in the non-staff spaces in our school lot or along the neighborhood streets for the first day of school, bring your child to the kindergarten playground (gate on Penasquitos Drive) after 7:55 a.m. and go into the classroom with your child at 8:10 a.m.
Dismissal for regular kindergarten students is at 12:10 p.m. from August 22 – September 28. Full day regular K begins on October 1.
Beginning October 1, dismissal for regular kindergarten students is at 2:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 12:50 p.m. on Fridays. Special Day Class (SDC) Kindergarten follows this regular RHES schedule from the beginning of school – there are no alternate schedule transition days for SDC K.
Dismissal for transition kindergarten (TK) students is at 12:10 p.m. Monday-Friday all year.
All TK and Kindergarten students will go to lunch during each school day. Although students may purchase lunch every day ($3.25), we highly recommend packing a lunch for your child the first week or so.
I look forward to seeing you in August!
Libby Keller
Principal
