Halloween Candy Buy Back

Dr. Lindsay Pfeffer of iOrtho, is once again offering a great way to recycle all of that extra candy from Halloween. Dr. Pfeffer will donate $1 for every pound of candy we collect to our school and donate the candy to the military troops, Casa de Los Pobres, Girl Scouts, The San Diego Rescue Mission, and other local organizations.  The candy collection box will be located in the front office Friday 11/1/18 - Thursday 11/7/18.

X-Ploration Day Lunch Schedule

Our lunch schedule is slightly different on the Fridays when the X-Ploration teachers are on our campus. Here are the dates and the lunch schedules for those dates.

Oct 11 & 25, Nov 8, Dec 6 & 20, Jan 10, Feb 7 & 28, Mar 13, Apr 3 & 24, May 8 & 22 and June 5

Lunch times on X-Ploration dates:
TK/K: 12-12:40
1st Grade: 12:15-12:55
2nd Grade: 11:45-12:25
3rd Grade: 11:30-12:10
4th Grade & 5th Grade: 11:00-11:40


2019-2020 GATE Testing Information

Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) involves services for students whose cognitive needs may require modified classroom curriculum and instruction to accommodate their learning differences and ensure their achievement. Parents may request GATE testing for students in grades 2-7.

   Test Date (only 1test opportunity)    Request Submission  Window
January 15 – January 16, 2020

*Each school will determine their testing date(s) within this 2 day window
September 9 through November 22, 2019

To request GATE testing for your child, complete a GATE Parent Questionnaire/Test Consent form online through the PUSD GATE webpage
NOTE: Requests for GATE Testing will only be taken during the request submission window dates.
