Enrollment for New Students

To Enroll New Students in the Current Year:

  1. Review the information on this page
  2. Confirm your assigned school, by your home address, on the district address lookup web
  3. Complete the site specific and district enrollment forms for elementary students
  4. Email our school office at enrollment-losPenasquitos@powayusd.com.   Enrollments are handled via email at this time due to social distancing.   If you do not have access to email, please call our office at (858) 672-3600.

PLEASE NOTE: Your student’s enrollment ensures a seat at a school in Poway Unified. We make every effort to enroll your child at your neighborhood school. In some cases, classes at your neighborhood school may reach capacity, in which case we will work with you to place your child at a nearby school.‚Äč

Required Documents for Enrollment:

  • All District required forms can be found by going to the District website
  • Additional required documents to bring for your child are:
    • Original birth certificate, baptismal certificate or passport
    • Original immunization record (see District website for required immunizations, if the immunization record is not up to date, your child will not be enrolled)
    • Two proofs of residency

Official immunization record must include:
• Name of Child
• Date of Birth
• Name of immunization administered
• Month and year of EACH immunization. Include day if obtained within birth month.
• Name of health care provider or agency administering EACH vaccine.
If you are taking your child to the doctor for their five year old physical and immunizations prior to enrollment, you may download the Report of Health Checkup for School Entrance MCH77 from the Poway Unified School District website  under new student enrollment. The Oral Health Checkup Form is also available on the website.  SEE ENROLLMENT
