The mission of the Highland Ranch chorus is to inspire a lifelong love of music while fostering teamwork, developing understanding, and emphasizing excellence in a fun and collaborative choral environment.  Chorus is open to K-5 students enrolled at Highland Ranch Elementary and K-5 siblings of students enrolled at Highland Ranch Elementary and in the choir. For information, email amythrockmorton@gmail.com or call/text the director at 858-243-6594.

Stallion Singers - This K-5 show choir will perform short book musicals with solos, spoken lines, and dance.  Members of the Stallion Singers are required to attend ALL rehearsals and performances.  This is an auditioned choir.

HRES Chorus - This K-5 traditional choir will explore a variety of traditional and modern choral music through singing, games and vocal exercises.  They will perform at the Winter and Spring concert.  Though full participation is encouraged, attendance at all rehearsals and performances is not mandatory.

Auditions and info session -  An information session and auditions will be held Wednesday, September 6th at 1:50 (right after school) in the MPR .  We will learn a short audition piece at the session, so no advance preparation is necessary.  Please bring completed permission slip. Any student interested in joining Stallion Singers must attend.  Students only interested in HRES Chorus may audition for experience if they like, or they can just attend the info session and drop off their permission slip.  Students may elect to participate in both choirs.
