Highland Ranch Chorus


Dear Highland Ranch Parents,

The mission of the Highland Ranch chorus is to inspire a lifelong love of music while fostering teamwork, developing understanding, and emphasizing excellence in a fun and collaborative choral environment.  Chorus is open to K-5 students enrolled at Highland Ranch Elementary and K-5 siblings of students enrolled at Highland Ranch Elementary and in the choir. For information, email amy@luminaryarts.com or call/text the director at 858-243-6594.
Registration - If your child will be participating in choir during the 2019-2020 school year, please fill out our registration form HERE.  Students must register in order to participate in HRES Stallion Singers.  
Stallion Singers FALL chorus -  For the 2019 fall semester, K-2nd grade students will rehearse after school in the MPR on Thursday until 3pm.  3rd-5th grades will rehearse Tuesday until 3pm.  Our Fall "Kid's Choice" performance will be on November 15th.

Stallion Singers are excited to announce our Spring Musical - Aladdin Jr!  All interested TK-5th graders need to register at the following link.  Please re-register even if you are currently in Winter Chorus.



Auditions for 3-5th grade students interested in lead/solo/speaking roles will be held after school on Wednesday 11/20.  There is a link to the SignUp Genius at the end of the registration form.  This year, we are asking students to prepare an audition song no longer than ONE MINUTE.  You may sing a capella or bring accompaniment tracks on a CD/ipod/etc.  TK-2nd graders and older children interested in ensemble roles do NOT need to audition.  Callbacks will be held after school on Friday, November 22nd.


We will rehearse after school on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays starting after winter break.  A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed after the show is cast.


Performances will be May 8-9 at Del Norte High School.  We look forward to an amazing adventure

Join The Fun!  We need LOTS of help to make this all-volunteer organization  function.  If you have a few hours a week or a few hours a year, we can use your talents.  Please sign up HERE .  We will require at least one hour of parent volunteer time per student, but more is better!!!
Director  -  Amy Throckmorton, MBA has a degree in music and theatre from USC.  She has performed professionally onstage from New York to Tokyo, and spent seven years as a singer for the Disney company in Japan and on the high seas. Today, in addition to her real estate career, Amy teaches private voice and music, develops and implements music education curriculum in North County schools, and directs and produces children's musicals with Luminary Arts.
