Deer Canyon Elementary School PTA

PTA is a non-profit organization that advocates on behalf of children at the national, state and local level. Here at Deer Canyon, the PTA provides a wide range of outstanding programs that help our children grow into smart, healthy, well-rounded individuals while having fun along the way! These wonderful opportunities would not be possible without the strong support and commitment of our wonderful Deer Canyon families.

Together we Will Shine! We invite you to join us in supporting our students in our 2019-2020 school year.
You can help us reach our PTA membership goals with three simple steps:

1.   Become a Member of PTA. Membership dues are just $14 per person. Approximately half of these dollars stay here at Deer Canyon to help fund vital programs, while the rest goes to  support PTA at the local, state and national level. All are welcome and encouraged to join…mothers, fathers, teachers, grandparents and community members. Members are not obligated to attend meetings or volunteer.

2.    Help Fund Our Programs.  In addition to a small income from membership dues, our PTA has two main sources of funding for the long list of important programs and activities we support:
Your Donations (and any Corporate Matching of these donations) and our Fall Gift Wrap FundraiserWithout your generous donations and the income we receive from the Gift Wrap fundraiser, we would not be able to provide the wide range of programs that we do.

3.    Volunteer for one of our many programs, activities and events. There are countless opportunities to volunteer throughout the year. Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents at school and find out what is going on around Deer Canyon!

Our 2019-2020 PTA Membership Packet includes information about PTA membership benefits and other easy ways to support Deer Canyon.

Please feel free to contact us for more information at  We look forward to another great year at Deer Canyon!
