Welcome to the Deer Canyon Elementary School  Foundation

The Foundation was established in 2001 because a group of parents and teachers wanted to provide Deer Canyon students with technology resources not available through public funding. While the Foundation still aims to supply state-of-the-art technology to each classroom, with the advent of drastic state budget cuts, our mission has expanded to helping maintain programs and teachers in the areas of reading, science, music, and physical education, as well as classroom art supplies and photocopying.

This year our goal is to raise $93,000 to support Deer Canyon programs. The Foundation raises funds through events like the Read-a-thon, Jog-a-thon, Silent Auction, DC Dining, matching gifts from employers, and generous donations from Deer Canyon families and local businesses.

Please help us maintain the educational programs that make our school such a wonderful learning environment for our children.

If you would like to make a donation, please make checks payable to Deer Canyon Foundation.

You may drop your gift off in the office or mail to Deer Canyon Elementary School, 13455 Russet Leaf Lane, San Diego, CA 92129.
