Black History Month

Posted Date: 1/13/2021
February is Black History Month!

Creekside will celebrate Black History Month with special book readings with our Librarian, class discussions, and comments at Friday Flag highlighting the incredible contributions made to our society by African Americans.  There is a lot to learn about the people and events that have shaped our country!
Mrs. Hennes has compiled a group of books highlighting Black Americans on her "I Have a Dream..." virtual bookshelf.  Take a look:   https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1WerLqLsnMSrfq1NFGW1p12AsqT95J9M0MXzWcl5dRn8/edit?usp=sharing
