Only as parents do we expect that love will be enough.  Often it just isn’t. Positive Parenting Program – Classes are Free

The Positive Parenting Program is a preventive, early-intervention program that helps parents find positive solutions to common childhood behavior issues using strategies proven to help improve behaviors and reduce caregivers stress and anxiety.
   Teen Positive Parenting Program Series in English via Zoom
        Thursdays, January 14th, January 21st, and January 28th 2021 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm
   Teen Positive Parenting Program Series in Spanish via Zoom
         Tuesdays, February 2nd, February 9th, and February 16th 2021 from 6:00pm-8:00pm

Preparing Positively for Puberty 

TK-8th Grade Parent Education

We can prepare our children for puberty by teaching them what to expect as their bodies transition from childhood to adulthood.  Learn how to break down "the big puberty talk" into
tiny talks that are more comfortable for both caregivers and children. We will review resources such as books and web sites that can simplify the process of starting a tiny talk.  We will discuss activities that can promote a positive and practical attitude toward this important life stage.  Enroll online TODAY at Poway Adult School

Parenting and Supporting LGBTQ+ Children and Teens 

All Grades Parent Education

Parenting a teen can be very challenging in itself, but understanding a LGBTQ+ life can become overwhleming. This workshop will give parents/caregivers insight into the LGBTQ+ youth.
