Poway Unified Receives CAASPP Test Results (Sep 16 2015)

This past spring, students in grades 3-8 and grade 11 took part in California’s new statewide assessments in English Language Arts and Mathematics (known as the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress, or CAASPP).

The Poway Unified School District today announced its policy for providing free and reduced-price meals for children served under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. The Food and Nutrition Department, located in the Poway Industrial Center, has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.


Seventeen Schools in Poway Unified Recognized by (Sep 16 2015)

Seventeen Poway Unified Schools have been selected by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence (CBEE) as some of the 1851 public schools in California to receive the titles of 2014 Honor Roll schools.


Poway Unified’s Meadowbrook Middle School Named 2015 California Gold Ribbon School (Sep 16 2015)

Today, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson named Meadowbrook Middle School as a recipient of the 2015 California Gold Ribbon School Award.

Poway Unified SAT Scores Move Higher in 2007 (Apr 27 2015)

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores have recently been released and Poway Unified School District is pleased to report the performance of its students. The total PUSD mean score of 1648 moved overall performance four points higher in 2007 compared to 2006.
