School Meal Information (Monday, August 24, 2020 Update)


Meal Distribution for the Start of the 2020-21 School Year

During the Poway Unified School District’s fully virtual start to the school year, the following 12 centralized school sites will offer grab-and-go breakfast and lunch meals* from 11am to 1pm, Monday through Friday:

  • Del Norte High School (16601 Nighthawk Lane, San Diego, CA 92127)
  • Los Penasquitos Elementary School (14125 Cuca Street, San Diego, CA 92129)
  • Meadowbrook Middle School (12320 Meadowbrook Lane, Poway CA 92064)
  • Midland Elementary School (13910 Midland Road, Poway, CA 92064)
  • Mt. Carmel High School (9550 Carmel Mountain Road, San Diego, CA 92129)
  • Pomerado Elementary School (12321 Ninth Street, Poway, CA 92064)
  • Poway High School (5500 Espola Road, Poway, CA 92064)
  • Rancho Bernardo High School (13010 Paseo Lucido, San Diego, CA 92128)
  • Turtleback Elementary School (15855 Turtleback Road, San Diego 92127)
  • Twin Peaks Middle School (14640 Tierra Bonita Road, Poway, CA 92064)
  • Valley Elementary School (13000 Bowron Road, Poway, CA 92064)
  • Westview High School (13500 Camino Del Sur, San Diego, CA 92129)

*Regular meal prices apply, according to eligibility category (Free, Reduced Price, and Paid). See the table below.

The intent is to make meal pick-up more convenient for families by allowing students to have one pick up time that includes both lunch and breakfast for the following day. We ask that students needing meals be physically present for an accurate count. However, if a child is unable to leave the home, a parent/guardian may pick up food for that child if they know the child’s student ID number. Parents are encouraged to prepay for all meals in advance to eliminate cash handling at school sites. All students who are NOT eligible for free meals must have money in their account or pay cash when meals are received.
