"TEAM PUSD" Program

Everyday Heroes

The Team PUSD Award is designed to recognize an admirable team of employees, who together accomplish an exceptional task or project. The recognition is for a group of two or more certificated and/or classified individuals who have made a significant contribution to the benefit of PUSD, an individual, his or her work site, the community or other volunteer or service organization. The activity for which they are being recognized generally demonstrates excellence or exceeds the employee's normal job responsibilities.

Nominations of deserving groups (comprised of classified employees, certificated employees or both) can be made at any time through the year.  Recognitions will be made as nominations are received and approved.  There is no specific window of opportunity.  It is an on-going, year-long opportunity to recognize and appreciate teams of individuals.

Groups may be nominated for one or more of the following accomplishments:

  • Demonstrating outstanding team spirit
  • Exemplary work performance
  • Accomplishing an exceptional task
  • A significant innovation
  • Behaviors/actions demonstrated in an extraordinary situation or circumstance
  • Providing exceptional customer service

Groups receiving the award will be recognized at Board meetings in the Superintendent’s Staff Recognitions, receive recognition letters from the Superintendent, and afforded special recognition on the District’s web page.

To nominate a group of employees for a Team PUSD Award, fill out the attached nomination form on line or by printing a copy of the form and return it to Debby Wulff in Personnel.
