The PUSD Classified Recognition Program honors classified employees who demonstrate excellence in work performance, school and community involvement, and leadership and commitment to our District and students.
This user friendly program allows anyone (fellow employee, supervisor, parent, etc.) to submit a nomination to recognize the efforts of one of our classified employees. The nominated classified employee along with his/her supervisor will receive a notification informing them of the nomination, and the employee will be considered for further recognition.
HOW IT WORKS: PROGRAM TIERS & TIMELINE
TIER 1: RECOGNIZE EXCELLENCE IN PUSD EMPLOYEES — (Year around)
This program recognizes classified employees for their excellent contributions. Nominations may be made by anyone including an employee's supervisor, co-worker, subordinate, customer, parent, etc. The nomination form can be completed online or by downloading and printing the form. See nomination forms.
Once the nomination has been submitted, the recognized employee, his/her supervisor, and the nominator will receive an acknowledgment of the nomination.
TIER 2: IDENTIFY OUTSTANDING PUSD EMPLOYEES —
(TWO times a year)
An Evaluation Committee will review all of the TIER 1 nominations to identify outstanding employees to receive additional recognition.
The identified employees will be publicly recognized at a Board Meeting, will receive a certificate and lanyard pin identifying them as an outstanding classified employee, and will be featured on the District websites and other public venues.
Recipients must be permanent active employees in good standing with the Poway Unified School District.
