22/23 School Year Registration Infomration
At this time Willow Grove ESS has reached full capacity for the Fall 2022-2023 school year. We are currently recruiting and hiring staff in order to be able to serve all of our returning families. As a new family wanting to enroll in ESS, we wanted to make you aware of this issue and let you know that our ability to serve new families for the upcoming school year will be very limited if at all. We have closed the interest list for the Fall at this time. If we should have the capacity to enroll new students, we will work from the names that are already on the list.
We understand this is a concern for our working families.

VOLUNTARY USE PROGRAM
All PUSD elementary schools have an Extended Student Services program on campus. Our organization works diligently to accommodate and serve working families in need of before and after school care. A student’s enrollment at an elementary school does not guarantee them E.S.S. enrollment. As a growing organization, each E.S.S. site may experience limitations that factor into the enrollment capacity and may prohibit the acceptance of additional students at any given time.
HOW TO ENROLL
(Enrollment is subject to availability)
1. Call or email firstname.lastname@example.org to verify we are currently accepting registration for your child's grade level. If prompted to do so by the Supervisor.
Please call or email us with any questions. Thank you!
ESS ENROLLMENT FORMS ARE LINKED BELOW
All forms must be submitted to the ESS office, in person, and signed by the Supervisor or Lead Assistants before they are valid and the student is considered enrolled in the ESS Program.
Mission Statement - "E.S.S. is a bridge between school and home where children are encouraged to learn, create, and explore within their school, community, and world."
Program Overview - This extended-day program expands the excellence of each child's school experience into before and after school. E.S.S. is staffed by highly qualified professionals and trained program assistants. The staff provides for the academic and social needs of children in safe and nurturing environments. There is time, space, encouragement, and support for learning good study habits.
Program History - The E.S.S. program began in 1980 and is now offered in every elementary school in the Poway Unified School District. All children who attend elementary school in the District are eligible to enroll.
Program Activities - Our program is geared toward expanding each child's world through arts & crafts projects, science activities, reading and language arts reinforcement, and math concept development. Our program reinforces the social, motor, and academic skills children learn in the classroom.
School Year Hours - E.S.S. is open daily, Monday - Friday, from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Summer and Break Day Hours: 7:30am -5:30pm
