Teacher Biographies

Teacher: Naomi Lesberg
Classes: Acrylic Painting

Naomi Lesberg

Naomi Lesberg received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Master’s in Art Education from the University of Michigan, but nothing has prepared her as much as her hands-on teaching experience and creating her own art. Retired after many years of teaching middle school art she has discovered the joys and satisfaction of teaching art to adults. Her Poway classes have included instruction in art fundamentals, such as composition, color theory, and perspective. Her Acrylic Painting classes have been popular with students of all media, including oil, pastel, and graphite, who appreciate the opportunity to learn at their own pace. Her emphasis and strength has been to create a nurturing atmosphere where adults of all skill levels and experience can be creative and successful.
