HS Diploma Options

Graduate

Adult School Learners


Adults ages 18 and older have three choices for completing a high school education. 

  •  High School Equivalency Test Preparation Go there now

    • In this choice you can prepare for one of two tests: HiSet or GED

  • Earn a Poway Adult School High School Diploma Go there now

  • Earn a National External Diploma (NEDP) Go there now

Study in a Variety of Ways

Independent Study

This program works for the motivated adult who requires flexibility. Adult independent study students meet one-on-one with instructors once a week for assistance and testing. Students are invited to attend additional support classes offered in the Learning Center. 

On-campus Learning

This option is ideal for students who need access to a full range of resources to complete their goals. Students attend the Learning Center to recieve individual assistance from a credentialed teacher; participate with peers in classes; utilize computer, video and audio-enhanced learning; access resources; and take assessments.

Online Learning 

Online learning is avaiable to enhance and accelerate your learning! The NEDP option is an online platform.

  1. Call (858) 668-4015 to schedule an appointment with the Academic Counselor, Mendy Glogowski.
  2. Attend youir scheduled appointment to discuss choices for completing your high school education
  3. Participate in an assessment for placement
    • If possible, please bring a copy of your previous high school transcript(s)
