  •   POWAY HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ FESTIVAL - SATURDAY, APRIL 28, 9am-5pm

    Poway High School will be hosting the annual Poway Jazz Festival on Saturday, April 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts.  Twelve top high school and middle school jazz ensembles, including Poway High's Jazz Bands, will perform. The organizers are also pleased to announce that the San Diego State University Jazz Ensemble directed by Bill Yeager will be performing a noontime concert. The Festival is open to the public, so come and enjoy a relaxing day of live jazz! Admission is $10.00 for adults, students 18 & under are free. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Cash, check, or credit cards will be accepted at the admission table near the front entrance to the PCPA auditorium. Guests may park for free in the PHS campus lots off Titan Way and Espola Road.

    What I Wish My Parents Knew Tuesday, May 1 from 6:30-8:45pm at Rancho Bernardo High School Join other parents to find out what today's teenagers are really thinking!  


  •   EYE ON ART - THURSDAY, MAY 3, 6:00 p.m.

    On Thursday, May 3 at 6:00 p.m. the Poway High School Fine Arts Department invites you to our annual Eye on Art, showcasing student work in Digital Media Film, Drawing and Painting, 3D Animation, Floral Design, Ceramics, Photography, Architectural Design, and Introduction to Design. A reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the N Quad, and at 7:00 p.m. classrooms will open to see student work.  There will be food and live jazz from the PHS music program.  Bring your friends and family. Admission is free!


  •   PUSD VIRTUAL INTEGRATED MATH IIB ONLINE - SUMMER 2018

    PUSD will be offering Integrated Math IIB this summer as a first time class.  It will be online through PVC and will be a full trimester beginning on June 18 and ending September 7.  Students will be selected in a lottery process, and are not guaranteed a space.  This will be the only summer that the course is offered.  If your student is interested in applying, please click for the link and scroll down for the application.  Applications must be received by May 4, 2018.


  •   CAASPP TESTING AND BELL SCHEDULE - MAY 21-MAY 30

    CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress) Testing will take place from May 21-May 30.  CAASPP incluces the Smarter Balanced (SBAC) and California Science Test (CAST).  SBAC testing is for 11th grade students only, and CAST testing is for 12th grade students only.  There will be a modified bell schedule from May 21-30 for all students (testers and non-testers) to accommodate testing.
