Continuing Student Registration runs from April 1st - 30th.

We must receive a completed digital packet for all returning students. This will allow for proper placement of your student for the 2021-2022 school year. This annual digital process allows a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student. Packets can be completed using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection. See the District Continuing Student Registration Page

  •   PUSD Integrated Preschool

PUSD is pleased to offer an Integrated Autism    Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Preschool Program for the 2021-2022 school year.  The classrooms are located at Deer Canyon, Pomerado, and Monterey Ridge Elementary Schools.  The program serves 3 to 5 year olds with and without special needs.  General education developmental curriculum is used and includes large and small group instruction.  Students in the program who are identified as having special needs, experience difficulty in one or more of the following areas:  speech and language, social skills and play skills.
Success of the integrated program greatly depends on the inclusion of children without special needs who act as peer models.  The children work as an integrated group by learning and playing together in an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding.  Curriculum is play-based and embeds academic concepts into play and social experiences.
Each day the kids have the opportunity to learn and explore through structured small group activities and play, free exploratory play, outside play, and large group instruction. The classrooms embed academic and social instruction into fun thematic units throughout the year. They are warm and joyful learning environments for our littlest learners, laying a strong foundation for their school experiences.
Currently, there are openings at all locations for Fall of 2021.  If you are interested in having your child attend this program as a peer model, please contact Danielle Strauss with the Special Education Department at
