  •   2021 Run Club

    The 2021 PTA Run Club is returning to Shoal Creek this Tuesday, October 12th! When students arrive at school, they drop their backpack at your classroom, grab their running card, and see how many laps they can complete before the bell rings. All grade levels are invited to come join us to run, jog, or walk laps on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00am to 8:15am. Students will be awarded for reaching running milestones, and each month Ollie the Run Club Mascot will make his way around to the classroom with the highest participation. We look forward to seeing students on the track!

  •   Minimum Day on November 1st

    Monday November 1st is a minimum day with dismissal at 11:55am.  Staff will be engaged in professional development in the afternoon.  We appreciate you making a note of this date and picking up your child at 11:55am.

  •   Red Ribbon Week and Character Counts

    The PTA is looking for volunteers to help the school counselor run easy and fun activities during Red Ribbon Week and Character Counts Week, October 25-29.   •   Fall Festival

    The Fall Festival is almost here! We look forward to seeing you this Friday, October 22 from 5pm to 8pm for this fun event. If you want to receive tickets in advance, please turn in your pre-sale ticket order form by October 18. Tickets will also be on sale the evening of the event and will be CASH ONLY.
    Donations are still needed! 

    We are in need of candy and 12oz soda cans (the most popular are Coke/Pepsi, Diet Coke/Pepsi, Sprite, Orange, Root Beer, and Dr. Pepper). Drop off donations to the front office by October 22. 

     Volunteers are still needed to build the Haunted House and help set up and clean up: 

    Transforming the MPR into a Haunted House takes a lot of heavy lifting and constructing, and we need your help to make it happen! The kids love visiting the Haunted House, let’s band together and give them a fun experience they missed last year. 

    We will also need volunteers to help set-up beginning at 8:15am on October 22 and then put everything away after the event at 8:00pm.   •   Book Fair

    Book Fair is back in-person this fall from October 25-29! Kids will be allowed to shop with their classes, as well as before (Tuesday-Friday) and after (Monday-Friday) school. To ensure a safe experience for all, we will be located in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). Online shopping is available for friends and family, and all orders ship to your home. Look for the flyer to come home next week. Money raised from the Book Fair is used to purchase books for our school library and classrooms.
