    COVID related notifications are sent via email. Please make sure you
    check your email daily for any notifications you may receive. Close contact
    notifications are time sensitive and require a response from parent/guardian.

  •   Safety & Health Reminders

    We are excited to welcome back our Otters tomorrow morning.  Here are a few reminders to keep us all safe & healthy:

    • If your child(ren) have COVID-like symptoms or have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19, please keep them home and get a test to see if they have COVID-19. You can contact your healthcare provider, make an appointment at our testing partner Phamatech, or visit one of the free COVID-19 testing locations across the county. 

    • If your child has tested positive for COVID-19, please keep them home and contact us at 858-613-9080 or email Mrs. Omoto at

    Make sure your child brings an appropriate mask to wear at school.  Masks with exhalation valves or vents are not allowed.

  •   PTA Multi-Cultural Event - Looking for volunteers:


    On Saturday February 5th Shoal Creek will be hosting another Multicultural Event. This event will take place from 1:00-4:00 PM outside by the lunch area of our campus. To make this fun event happen we are looking for volunteers who are interested in representing their country and their heritage in a cultural booth. Would you love to show other Shoal Creek families about your heritage through a craft or game, a performance or some traditional foods, then please email Noelle Bergmans at before January 26.

  •   National Kindness Week


    This week is National Kindness Week!  Here is how we are focusing on kindness and how we can all participate:

    Monday:  Make someone's day!  ~ Hold the door for someone, give someone a compliment, say "please" and "thank you," etc.

    Tuesday:  Positivi-Tee Tuesday! ~ Wear a shirt that promotes kindness or has a positive message.

    Wednesday:  Write kind messages to your classmates, teachers, and staff.  [Click here for printable stationery.]

    Thursday:  Spread kindness with words and actions.  ~ Pick up trash, save water, etc.

    Friday:  Wear green to represent kindness.
