Weekly Otter Bulletin 11-6-17

Thursday, Nov 9, 2017 is the Apex FUN Run!  Keep those pledges coming!  Don't forget to ask grandparents, neighbors, co-workers and family friends to pledge for such a great event for our children!  Plus for each student who raises $10/lap, APEX donates up to 4 years of clean drinking water to someone in need through the Thirst Project!
Also, we need parents to help cheer on students, mark laps and help hand out water bottles & otter pops!  The PTA thanks you in advance!  Please go to signup.com to volunteer!

Thank you Shoal Creek Community. You have donated more than $10,000 to our Cash for Shoal Creek Kids campaign; with company matching we expect to make over $11,000. We really appreciate your generosity. You might wonder what we will do with $11,000 ... we plan to beautify the track area, with grass and SHADE trees. We will have a science night, a multicultural night, an all American picnic, EDUCATIONAL assemblies, and we plan to pass out hundreds of toe tokens at running club to name just a few things the PTA does. Thank you again for supporting the Otters!!!
Please remember that Jamba Juice cards are available at Friday Flag and in the front office - proceeds benefit the school and they make great stocking stuffers.

Traffic- Let’s keep our kids safe.  Our office is receiving numerous reports of unsafe driving, parking in non-designated areas and walking between cars. Please follow the directions of our volunteers and staff who are helping with traffic each day.
