Our Interest List for enrollment of new students (all grades) into Summer 2023 and/or next school year is now available via this link: forms.gle/XF8pxNoPvR7BSX4N9
*Summer enrollment has now ended but you may complete the form in case a spot opens up as we get closer to camp.
The purpose of this list is to see how much interest we have in each grade for summer and fall. The Interest List does NOT guarentee enrollment. After we complete priority enrollment (our currently enrolled families), we can reach out to people on our Interest List to offer spots in the order we have recieved responses per grade. This will take some time; please do not email and call asking when you will be enrolled. We will contact you via email as soon as we start enrolling.
Please be advised ESS does not "hold spots" or have part time rates. Supervisor will email you with how to enroll if you are to secure a spot. PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK ON THIS SITE BEFORE WE ASK YOU TO.

*June 9th last day of school-minimum day dismissal

1. Call or email jroach@powayusd.com to recieve the enrollment packet via email and verify we are currently accepting registration for your child's grade level.
2. You may also print and fill out the enrollment packet below to scan and email it to us.
3. A yearly $150 non-refundable registration fee per family and first month's fees are due to start.
We must receive the packet at least 2 business days before your child can attend. Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm (5:30pm in summer).

ESS FORMS
We now mostly paperless for enrollment. Please contact Superviosr and Lead for how to register for ESS. Our school year hours of operation are as follows: TK 11:45am-6pm and K-5th 2:05pm-6pm M,T,W,F with Thursdays being 12:25pm-6:00pm. **Kindergarten Introductory Days (KID days) have different pricing for August & September. The Kindergarteners will be dismissed at 11:45am M-F through Friday September 23, 2022. Please see our fall Fee Schedule tab for pricing and contract options.

ESS Overview
Mission Statement - "E.S.S. is a bridge between school and home where children are encouraged to learn, create, and explore within their school, community, and world."
Program Overview - This extended-day program expands the excellence of each child's school experience into before and after school. E.S.S. is staffed by highly qualified professionals and trained program assistants. The staff provides for the academic and social needs of children in safe and nurturing environments. There is time, space, encouragement, and support for learning good study habits.
Program History - The E.S.S. program began in 1980 and is now offered in every elementary school in the Poway Unified School District. All children who attend elementary school in the District are eligible to enroll.
Voluntary Use Program - ESS is a voluntary use program. All PUSD elementary schools have an Extended Student Services program on their campus. Our organization works diligently to accommodate and serve working families in need of before and after school care. A student's enrollment at an elementary school does not guarantee them ESS enrollment. As a growing organization, each ESS site may experience limitations that factor into the enrollment capacity and may prohibit the acceptance of additional students at any given time.
Program Activities - Our program is geared toward expanding each child's world through arts & crafts projects, science activities, reading and language arts reinforcement, and math concept development. Our program reinforces the social, motor, and academic skills children learn in the classroom.
E.S.S. Hours- for the 2022/23 school year: TK 11:45am-6pm and K-5th 2:05pm-6pm M,T,W,F with Thursdays being 12:25-6:00pm. Kindergarten Introductory Days (KID days) have different hours and pricing until September 26, 2022 since the kinders get out of school at 11:45am M-F. We believe that the children's extended day will be enriched by providing a balanced activity calendar that will support their growth and development. We want to encourage the children to explore their interests, motivate them to achieve their personal best, and relax and have fun with friends.
