    Academic Performance Index for PUSD Holds Strong at 893 (Apr 27 2015)

    Reports for academic progress for schools in the state of California have been released and the Poway Unified School District is pleased to report that the overall Academic Performance Index (API) score for PUSD is 893. All PUSD comprehensive high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools exceeded the designated target score of 800 which the state has set for all schools to reach by the year 2014. Notably, 98% of PUSD 10th graders passed the High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE.)


    POWAY UNIFIED PROVIDES INFORMATION FOR FREE AND REDUCED-PRICE MEALS IN (Apr 27 2015)

    The Poway Unified School District today announced its policy for providing free and reduced-price meals for children served under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. The Food and Nutrition Department, located in the Poway Industrial Center, has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.

    The Poway Unified School District is proud to announce the selection of Amy Smith-Richardson as principal of Morning Creek Elementary School. The selection will be recommended to the Poway Unified School District Board of Education for approval at its meeting on August 19, 2013.
