Neighborhood House Association operates federally-funded Head Start Programs throughout San Diego County. These developmentally appropriate programs provide for a wide range of student needs—social services, early education, parent education, and child care. Experiences stimulate learning in all areas, through active exploration and interaction with concrete materials, through curriculum planning, and adult interactions that are responsive to individual differences in ability, interests, cultural backgrounds, and linguistic styles. Families must meet eligibility requirements.
