 The Poway Professional Assistance Program provides teachers new to
the Poway Unified School District a support system of an
experienced classroom teacher to assist in their first and
second year of teaching with the district. The experienced
teacher, called a teacher consultant provides each new teacher
with thorough and frequent classroom observations, reflective
feedback, curriculum support, model lessons, coaching,
supervision, and assumes the responsibility of their first year
evaluations.
