Trigonometry
This is the new page for Trigonometry. Now that we are on a trimester system, I’ve updated the pages to the website to reflect the changes made as we convert to 3 trimesters each school year. Whether the course is held during the Fall, Winter, or Spring Trimester, you’ve come to the right place.

Trigonometry (from Greek trigōnon "triangle" + metron "measure") is a branch of mathematics that deals primarily with triangles in which one angle is 90º (right triangles). Trigonometry deals with relationships within these triangles and with periodic circular trigonometric functions, which describe those relationships.
Trigonometry has applications in both pure mathematics and in applied mathematics, where it is essential in many branches of science and technology. It is taught as a course to be taken after the completion of BOTH Algebra and Geometry and taken prior to a precalculus course.
A branches of trigonometry are important in astronomy, navigation, engineering, and many other applied sciences.
