This course is an
introduction to statistics. It is designed for college bound students who have completed
their sequence in Algebra. It relies on being a non-theoretical, conceptually based class.
Concepts are stressed and supported by examples of real life uses of statistics. The
ability to reason and think mathematically utilizing various strategies to solve problems
is the core of this college-preparatory course. The curriculum for each semester is
located in the right hand column.
