Unit 6: Randomness & Normal Distributions

Randomness
Students will learn that the laws of probability allow us to use samples, as long as they are randomly chosen to reflect upon a population.

In this unit, how a statistician projects a sample onto a population that is normally distributed, is the focus of our study. Properties of a normal distribution, and  techniques of insuring a random sample are studied and used in the development of the semester project.
