Describing
Data Numerically
Students will explore the important numerical measurements of center,
shape, and spread to assist in evaluating data.
They will learn how to
numerically compare - Mean, Median, Mode, Variance, Standard Deviation.
Student will learn the limitations of measurements of variability and compare and
contrast data from different distributions, which in turn leads to
the important numerical measurements of position to assist in evaluating data.
Students will build a Box Plot to help see the Inner Quartile Range.
They will learn how to numerically compare - Median, Inner Quartile
Range, Percentiles, Deciles.
