The Day I Made California Pizzas
by Lotta
Today I was very excited when I got to the school because we were making California pizzas! When the bell rang I ran up to my classroom. I put my juice on the table and quickly sat on the ground.
When the dough was carried to our table we stared at it and then we touched it. It felt like normal kind of dough and very soft. We quickly cut our dough and started to make pizza. When we were done with the making of the pizza we got to make mini pizzas. When we were done with the mini ones we had to wait for the pizza to come from the oven.
The pizza finally came, we ate it. It tasted like a crunchy, yummy, delicious pizza. Then we wrote thank you cards to Round Table Pizza because they donated the dough to our classroom.
The Day I Went to Six Flags Magic Mountain
by Brandon
As I entered the park I could smell the warm food going up my nose. As you look around and see all of the amazing rides and people screaming really loud! When I rode my first ride I went down the 200 foot drop as I yelled, "ahhh!"
So now we've been on a couple of rides so we're going to come scarier rides. Next we went on a ride that shoots you 1, 238 feet high, boom! Oh, no, we're going off the track. Everybody hold on, ahhh!!! tha tha boom boom vooh!! After we were in the air as long as 15 seconds, I figured out that is supposed to do that. I went phew!
I wasn't going to do any other ride but I saw one. It was even bigger than the other one, it was 2,874 feet high. When you start out they put you upside down and you move slow. Then out of nowhere they just say, go! I didn't know they did that so I screamed so loud they probably heard me in China. Then they do a zero gravity drop where you go straight down and curve in. So after that it is a loopy loop. It wiped me forward, I flew out, every body part thougth, "don't die, don't die, please."
I saw a guy riding a skateboard and I knew I had to get out of there. I said, "see ya." I pushed him off and I got on and rode like a hot rod all the way home.
