What's Happening in Room 20? 
  

    We have completed our studies about the Kumeyaay and had a Native American Day before Thanksgiving break. The class is now learning about space. We wrote stories about aliens and decorated our door with heroes of space exploration. We will have a Holiday Party and book exchange on Thursday, December 18th and a Holidays around the World rotation on Friday, December 19th. The children may dress up in costumes from different cultures. Winter vacation begins next week. We will start Reading Olympics on January 5 with a third grade Reading Olympics assembly. Encourage your children to read over vacation.
