3D
Computer Animation 1-2 is an
ROP multilevel class that focuses on the art of computer animation. In level 1-2, students will learn the basics of the principles of animation, design, animation software (3D Studio
Max or Softimage|XSI), modeling, storyboard development, script writing, character development, and application of these skills to be successful.
Students will work in a production group to create a small-animated movie.
This course meets PUSD Fine Art or Practical Art credit, PUSD Computer
Competency, and UC/CSU ‘f’ Elective Credit (Students must complete 1 and 2 to receive UC/CSU ‘f’ credit).

Architectural Design 1-2
is an ROP multilevel class that focuses on the art of architecture. In level 1-2, students will study the history of architecture and design a set of architectural plans of their dream home. Students will also create a 3D model of their house. Advanced students will develop a set of working architectural plans for submittal to the city of Poway’s building/planning office.. This course meets PUSD Fine Art
or Practicle Art credit, PUSD Computer Competency, and UC/CSU ‘f’ Elective Credit (Students must complete 1 and 2 to receive UC/CSU ‘f’ credit).

Advanced
3D Computer Animation is an
ROP multilevel class that focuses on the art of advanced computer animation. In
Advanced Computer Animation, students will continue to learn the principles of
animation, animation 3D software (3D Studio Max or Softimage|XSI), modeling, storyboard development, script writing, character development, and application of these skills
in a production group to create a small-animated movie to be entered into an
animation competition. Students will concentrate on the principles and
elements of design and theoretical ideas of art/design, broadening the
students creativity and cultural awareness to develop innovative and
creative 3D Computer Feature Animation. This course meets PUSD Practical Art
credit and PUSD Computer Competency.

Architectural Drafting 1-4 is an ROP multilevel class that focuses on
the planning of buildings. All students will acquire a knowledge of the
evaluation of man's means of building and how this relates to weather,
custom, tradition, materials available, and social habits. Skills will be
acquired through the process of designing a home, building a model, and
surveying a typical site. Sample projects will be given as if the student
were the architect and had to meet the county building codes. Technical
information and skills are acquired through participation, demonstrations,
projects, and guest speakers. This course meets PUSD Practicle Art credit
and PUSD Computer Competency.
