We are only a week away
from the end of adding new assignments/grades
to first quarter.
To assist students with missing assignments we will
send home missing assignment sheets on Wednesday, Oct. 14. These
assignments are due by Monday, Oct. 19th.
Parent-student-teacher conferences are only two weeks away, so we have
enclosed the conference schedule forms. Please check dates and times and
return it with the homework folder by Friday. If the assigned time is not
convenient for you, please give some optional dates and times
with your
phone number.
Language Arts: We
have finished our response to literature writing
piece
after reading Maroo of the Winter Caves.
We are now using our
Interactive Reader and lit. text.
Social Studies: Our
study of Mesopoamia and the Ancient civilization of
Sumer
is under way.
Science: We
are now studying the weathering and erosion process.
Math: We have started chapter 3 on fractions and the chapter 2
Test went home
last week for parent signature.
