Cultural Project
Directions:
| In this project you will be using your computer skills and your knowledge of Latin American culture to create a country report. I will be providing you with links to several web pages that you will need to visit in order to complete this project. |
Step 1:
Select the Spanish speaking Latin American country that you will be exploring.
Step 2:
| Obtain a map off the Internet of your country and print it out. Be sure that the major cities and the capitals are labeled. |
Step 3:
| Go to Iconbazaar.com and find the flag to your country. Print it in color or draw it. |
Step 4:
| Refer to these sites (Classic Converter) (Currency Converter) to find out what the monetary unit is in your country and what it is worth in US dollars. |
Step 5:
| Using one of these search engines (Dogpile) (Google) find a web page profiling your country. List the web site address and provide information on the following areas: |

Step 6:
| Listen to the National anthem of your country on http://www.thenationalanthems.net/ , and report how long it is. |
Step 7:
| Go to this site to find a Current Latin American event. Report in a well written paragraph the main thrust of the current event. |
Step 8:
| Write a paragraph summarizing what you have learned about this country. Include the highlights only. |
Step 9:
| Using the information you have learned create a travel brochure which would entice one to travel to this country. Be sure to include pictures, maps, and descriptions of places to visit |
Step 10:
| Turn in all 10 steps to Profe Wagenveld on the due date. Omitting a step will drastically affect your grade. |
