1. y = 4x-1
2. On this problem I substituted numbers for x to solve for y as follows:
x = 0 y = -1
x = 1 y = 3
x = 2 y = 7
x = 3 y = 11
x = 4 y = 15
x = 5 y = 19
3. After doing this I noticed a pattern. Every time x increased by 1 y increased by 4 and every time x decreased by 1 y decreased by 4.

Therefore the run of this problem is 1 and the rise of this problem is 4.
