Problem: 3-3(x+2) + 2x

First I do Distributive property because I want to get rid of parentheses.

3-3(x+2) + 2x

3-3x + (-6) + 2x

3-3x-6 + 2x

Then I combine like terms because I want to make it shorter.

3-3x-6+2x

-3x

3- 6 - x

Then I do 3-6 because I want to get by itself.

3 - 6 - x

-3 - x

So I have my answer: -3-x
