is a two-year training program and therefore the student is making a commitment
to the career of his/her choosing by enrolling in this class.
Hands-on and lecture class with an emphasis on troubleshooting hardware and software problems.

Year Two:
Internship (which may qualify for work experience credit), and will include employer required expectations review. Fall Semester of senior year spent on campus at PHS as Titan Tech Team Student Technician. Spring Semester student is placed as an intern at PHS or with a local company.
Upon satisfactorily completing this course, students will receive or acquire practical hands-on employability skills and a Certificate of Completion.

needed by Student:
Must Have: 3 ring binder with subject dividers. Optional: Sticky notes, index cards
Notebook paper for notes
Floppy disc and holder
Hi-Liter, pen, pencil
Day Planner provided by PHS
(Please see me if there is a problem obtaining these supplies)
Assignments: Please see grading rubric. Extra Credit is always accepted. Students are expected to come to class prepared every day having completed homework and bringing proper supplies and books.
Make-up work: Students are responsible to make up all work. Two days are given for each day missed. Students will be encouraged to have a “study-buddy” from whom they can get the missing assignments.
Attendance: In adherence to the policies of Poway High School, a student is considered late if he/she is not ready to learn when the tardy bell rings. Detentions will be assigned for any unexcused tardy.
Internet and e-mail access: Students will need to have their own e-mail addresses and access the web frequently.
Tutorial: Mandatory if student receives a D or F on an exam and/or if he/she has a D or F in the class.
Students and parents will be able to access information about the class and student grades from LearningPoint.org
