Car Buying Project
Objective: You will be researching and analyzing the costs of buying and owning a new or used car. You will calculate the cost to purchase the car, as well as, how much it will cost to operate it. Then you will determine how many hours per week you will have to work just to afford the car you chose. Read each step carefully before moving on to the next step.
Activity A
1. Open a new excel spreadsheet.
2. Input the following information into the spreadsheet just as it appears below. Make sure that you are using font size 10 for all the text you input into the spreadsheet. For the Title "Cost Analysis Worksheet" located in row 1, use font size 18 and use the merge and center function to center it across columns A through I. The 1's that are inserted into the cells are a visual reference for you to use. If they help you count cells, insert them; they are not mandatory.
