11. Goals for life after high school, (college, trade school, military, apprenticeship, professional athlete)* (Mandatory, two slides)
    1. Requirements for entrance into the school or institution of your choice.  Even if you don't plan to go to a college, there are requirements to each job to be successful.
    2. List three requirements, such as specifics about the:
       • Salary
       • Education
       • Travel
       • Talent
       • GPA
       • Tuition
       • Sponsorship

    Things to think about that you might want to include:

    Career Description - What is this career about, what does someone in this career do, what type of work do they perform, etc.   What majors in college, what types of trade schools, community college or course work will allow you to get a job in that field?   Are there any high school courses you could take now to help you on your way to that career?   How much money would make your first year on the job?  How much would make after you have a lot of experience on the job?   If you had a job in that career field describe what that occupation would be like? (Do you work long hours, inside an office dealing with clients that complain all day?) What might a day on the job be like. Use the following web sites to help you gather information about certain careers. PowerPoint Requirements

• Presentation in front of class -  3 minutes
• Minimum of 10 slides
• Minimum of 5 images or graphics
• Use  Slide One notes section to tell where you acquired your information.  This must be researched, therefore, you must cite the URL,  Coin, or any other Career Search source.  An interview with an individual will work too, as long as you cite his/her name, company, and title.
• One Animated Gif
• Title Slide
• End Slide, not using “The End”
• Format, Apply Design Template
• Use a “Sans” font on each slide, Comic Sans, Lucida Sans
• Apply Custom Animation
  • Bring in bullets one at a time and dim
  • Slide show, Custom Animation, click box to be animated, click on Effect/Entrance, Speed, Effect Options, Enhancement, After Animation Dim (change color),
• Rehearse Timings - +/- three minutes
  • Slide Show, Rehearse Timings, Save, View Slide Sorter to see timings.  You can make slide timing longer or shorter here, if you need to rather than resetting all of the rehearsal
• CD background sound - optional
