| A "podcast" is a type of webcast
utilizing a digital media file (usually audio, video, or a combination
of both) that is distributed over the Internet and can be played over a
computer or downloaded and played on a potable media player. the
term, Podcast, is a combination of Apple's media player ~ the iPod ~ and
the verb ~ broadcast - the transmission of audio or video signals. While true podcasts can be, "syndicated, subscribed to, and downloaded automatically," ours can not. Our podcasts in reality, are digital audio/video files that will play on your computer opening Windows Media Player or similar. |
